Mendoza scored 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 58-56 win over Camarillo. The school record is 32 points, set back in 1995.
ROBERTO NELSON – SANTA BARBARA BASKETBALL
Nelson, a senior headed to Oregon State next year, scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Dons over San Marcos in front of a big crowd at the SBCC Sports Pavilion. Seven of his points came in the fourth quarter, and he also buried some clutch free throws.
