SBCC water polo player Alyssa Russell-Sadoff has a goal of becoming an educator. She is setting a good example for her future students by what she’s doing as a college student athlete. Russell-Sadoff carries a 3.95 GPA and is a key player on the Vaquero women’s water polo team. Anna Cable stars in goal for Dos Pueblos; Olisa Nwachie tears it up for Westmont basketball

Dos Pueblos water polo goalie Anna Cable and Westmont College basketball player Olisa Nwachie were honored as the Athletes of the Week at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon. Dos Pueblos swept the Athlete of the Week awards at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at the Earl Warren Showgrounds. Abbi Hill of the top-ranked Dos Pueblos girls water polo team and Bryan Sheets, the record-setting basketball player at Providence, were named the Athletes of the Week at Monday's Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon. Josie Morales excels in three sports and in classroom at Dos Pueblos

It was an intense crosstown soccer match that went down to the wire. In the final minutes, San Marcos answered a late goal by Dos Pueblos and the game ended in a 2-2 draw. San Marcos basketball sharpshooter Ryan Godges and center Drew Edelman of the UCSB women’s basketball team have been named the first Athletes of the Week of the new year. Ashton Borgeson and John Harris of the Bishop Diego football team and Ryann Neushul of the Dos Pueblos girls water polo team have been named the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Athletes of the Week.
