It is an acknowledgment that the community lauds the unique abilities and accomplishments of these exceptional young people.

It is the goal of the Athletic Round Table to remind the community, including children and parents, that it is possible for a student to participate in athletics and yet maintain outstanding academic achievement.

Criteria for Selection

Academic qualification of the individual to be honored should include a 3.5 grade point average or better in conjunction with other scholarly activities such as honor societies, or extracurricular activities such as science or culture clubs.

This award has traditionally been given to a senior who is involved in school activities.
