The High Five Golf Tournament raises money to support the athletic programs of six local high schools. The Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table closed out the year with another packed-house affair at Fess Parker’s Doubletree for the 43rd annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Monday night. The inductees as well as Coaches and Athletes of the Year were honored, with highlights including a video acceptance speech from Dodger Stadium by Hall-of-Famer Ryan Spilborghs, who plays for the Colorado Rockies. The 2009 Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table High Five Tennis Tournament took place Monday, April 20 at La Cumbre Country Club and was a resounding success, raising money for the high school athletics programs at Santa Barbara, San Marcos, Dos Pueblos, Bishop Diego, Carpinteria and Laguna Blanca.
