The Athlete of the Week award winners came from the pool at the final Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon of the 2016-17 school year. Santa Barbara High golfer Preston Gomersall and Westmont track & field athlete Madison Herrera were honored as the Athletes of the Week at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe. Santa Barbara track and field athlete Kiasa Salgado and San Marcos softballer Hailee Rios were honored as Athletes of the Week at Monday's Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry's Plaza Cafe. Salgado matched his personal record in the 300 hurdles (39.36) at the Santa Barbara County Championships and became the first to win the county title in the event three times. Dos Pueblos tennis player Miles Baldwin and San Marcos record-setting swimmer Maija Ninness were honored as the Athletes of the Week at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe. SBCC baseball player Wesley Ghan-Gibson and San Marcos track athlete Allie Jones were honored Monday as the Athletes of the Week at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry's Plaza Cafe.
