Henry Farrell has been fortunate enough to play in two CIF-Southern Section finals during his high school athletic career at Laguna Blanca School. Farrell is a rare five-sport athlete and an outstanding student as well. DP soccer player Calvin Schipper leads on field and in classroom

Calvin Schipper is the leader of the defense for the Dos Pueblos boys soccer team. So, it seems almost fitting he is pursuing acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Summer Christensen was honored as the Scholar-Athlete of the Year from Cate School at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Café. Christensen is a two-sport athlete at Cate, competing in lacrosse and tennis. Senior Ricky Beebe was honored as the Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Providence School at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Café.
