Spencer Mikles, Santa Barbara High Mikles was a member of the Dons' golf squad which won a State Championship last season and is also a starting guard on the basketball team. He carries a 4.3 GPA and is taking three AP classes. His golf coach, James Bedard, used an anecdote about Mikles and the award's namesake to illustrate his character.
