Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara

The Scholarship Foundation provides support to students attending college, graduate and technical schools. To be considered for a general scholarship, students must:

  • Have attended school in Santa Barbara County for at least four years between grades 7-12.
  • Graduate or receive a G.E.D. from a Santa Barbara County High School by June of the current academic year.
  • Be planning to attend full time at a Title IV-approved school in the next academic year.

New and returning students must submit their completed applications by January 15.

Scholarship Foundation Program Advisors are available to help with our application, as well as complex financial aid documents, such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act application. Call (805) 687-6065 to make an advising appointment.


Phil Womble Memorial Scholarship

Santa Barbara, CA: The Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table (SBART) is well on its way to raising the funds to provide scholarships to honor the life of a local sports icon. “Phil Womble serves as a reminder for youth and adults alike on the power of persistence”, notes Dave Pintard, Past President of SBART. SBART has agreed to match up to $25,000 for all donations with the goal of establishing an endowed fund of $50,000, and public fundraising
efforts will commence shortly.
