San Marcos water polo accomplished every team goal but one

"Our team impressed me so much this season," exclaimed San Marcos girls water polo head coach Chuckie Roth on Monday at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Press Luncheon at Harry's Plaza Cafe. Tina Hill is one busy body. When she’s not training and competing for the SBCC women’s swim team, she’s teaching math at Santa Barbara High and working as an assistant coach for the high school swim teams. Coaches, athletes salute retiring UCSB swim coach Gregg Wilson

UC Santa Barbara swim coach Gregg Wilson has been coming to the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table’s press luncheons almost as long as it’s been hosting them. When Wilson stepped to the podium on Monday, he announced it was his last time speaking as as head coach of the Gauchos. “It’s been a good run. Royals rise to occasion for Torres, draw against Santa Barbara

His team was coming off a 7-4 loss and going into first-place Santa Barbara High, which had its sights on wrapping up a share of the Channel League boys soccer title.
