Westmont’s Kelly Collins excels as distance runner, creative writer

Kelly Collins has been named Westmont College's Scholar Athlete of the Year for her participation on the women's cross country and track and field teams as well as her strong academic success. Collins is an eight-time NAIA national qualifier and was named an NAIA All-American in cross country in 2014. Collins' academic credentials are impressive as well. Henry Farrell plays five sports, carries 4.5 GPA at Laguna Blanca

Henry Farrell has been fortunate enough to play in two CIF-Southern Section finals during his high school athletic career at Laguna Blanca School. Farrell is a rare five-sport athlete and an outstanding student as well. Austin Bohnett excels in multiple areas at Bishop Diego

Austin Bohnett is the definition of a go-getter. Whether it’s in athletics or academics, he goes after it with gusto. Bohnett was honored as Bishop Diego’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Café. His resumé is quite impressive.
